Installing UpsellEngine takes a few minutes, and your first AI-generated offer can be live in about five.

Install the app

1. Open the UpsellEngine listing on the Shopify App Store and click Add app.
2. Approve the requested permissions. UpsellEngine reads your product catalog and order history to generate recommendations, and creates offers and discounts on your behalf.
3. You'll land in the UpsellEngine dashboard inside your Shopify admin.

First offer

On the free plan, offers are hand-picked; on paid plans, the AI generates recommendations automatically from your catalog and order history — typically within about five minutes of install. See How AI pairing works for what happens before you have order data (the "cold start").

Next steps

Enable the surfaces you want to use:

• Enable app embeds — Cart Drawer and Popup.
• Add theme blocks — Frequently Bought Together, Product Add-ons, and the Cart Page block.
• Enable checkout & post-purchase surfaces — checkout, thank-you, and one-click post-purchase.

Note: You don't have to enable everything at once. Turn on one placement, confirm it appears, then add more.
