Discounts

You can attach an optional discount to most offers to make an upsell more compelling.

How discounts are applied

Discounts are applied securely at checkout, not exposed as an editable price a shopper could tamper with. When a shopper accepts a discounted offer, the reduction is applied to the order at checkout so the correct total is charged.

Adding a discount

1. While creating or editing an offer (Creating an offer), open the discount option.
2. Set the discount (for example a percentage or fixed amount).
3. Publish.

Automatic discount tiers

Inventory Rescue can apply automatic discount tiers that deepen over time to move aging stock — a separate mechanism from a fixed per-offer discount.
