Enable checkout & post-purchase surfaces

Three surfaces live in or after the Shopify checkout: checkout upsells, thank-you page offers, and the one-click post-purchase offer.

Checkout & thank-you blocks (Shopify Plus)

The checkout and thank-you blocks are added in Shopify's checkout editor, which is available on Shopify Plus.

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Checkout and open Customize (the checkout editor).
2. Add the UpsellEngine — Checkout block where you want offers in checkout, and/or the UpsellEngine — Thank-you block on the order-confirmation page.
3. Save.

Select the post-purchase app

The one-click post-purchase upsell requires selecting UpsellEngine as your store's post-purchase app:

1. Go to Settings → Checkout.
2. Under Post-purchase page, select UpsellEngine.
3. Save.

Important: Shopify allows one post-purchase app per store, and a checkout can show up to three offers. Shopify also decides when the post-purchase page can appear — it's skipped for some payment methods and order types. See When the post-purchase page won't appear.
