Checkbox add-ons that raise the order, right above Add to Cart

Product Add-ons place optional extras as checkboxes right where the buying decision happens: above the Add to Cart button. They are ideal for the things a shopper would want but would not think to search for — a spare filter, a protective case, an extended warranty, a gift wrap. Because the extras ride along with the main product, there is no extra navigation and no second decision to make.

The add-ons can be chosen for you by the same AI that powers the rest of UpsellEngine, or curated by hand for products where you know exactly what belongs. Either way they are configured per product or per collection, so a warranty offer follows your electronics and a consumable follows the machine it fits.

Add-ons work differently from Frequently Bought Together, and stores often run both. Bought Together suggests other whole products a shopper might want; add-ons attach the small, obvious extras that belong to this specific item — the thing a customer would be annoyed to have forgotten. Because they sit above Add to Cart as simple checkboxes, they raise average order value without asking the shopper to reconsider the purchase, and any discount you attach is applied securely at checkout rather than exposed as an editable price.
